Job Details Job Details: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Consulting Service Desk Technician to join our team in the healthcare industry. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of our IT services, providing direct support to our end users and maintaining our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with a deep understanding of both Windows and MacOS platforms. They will be responsible for deploying and configuring computers, maintaining our Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and providing technical assistance as required. This role is not just about fixing issues - it's about providing an exceptional level of service to our staff, helping them to navigate the challenges of the ever-evolving IT landscape. Responsibilities: Proficient in Windows and MacOS, with the ability to deploy and configure computers for end users. Maintain and update the CMDB, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date. Provide exceptional level of customer service when assisting and troubleshooting with end users. Install and configure printers and IoT devices on computers. Perform basic computer hardware troubleshooting and remediation. Research and solve unfamiliar scenarios, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving. Know when to consult and escalate issues, ensuring the right people are involved at the right time. Qualifications: Must have 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the healthcare industry. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear and understandable way. Strong knowledge of both Windows and MacOS platforms. Experience in maintaining a CMDB. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues. Experience in installing and configuring printers and IoT devices. Must be a self-starter, with the motivation to take on challenges and the ability to work independently. Must have a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to research and resolve unfamiliar scenarios.
