Job description

Principal Contract Administrator

As the Principal Contract Administrator, you will perform research on complex contracting matters and provide sound business advice and counsel to Operations Management and Functional Departments in accordance with bid specifications, FAR / DFAR, other government regulations, and internal policies. With your constant proposal activity, you will add value, analysis of solicitation terms and conditions, identifying risks as well as mitigation alternatives, independently leading the cost volume and acting as a pivotal coordinator for the proposal development effort across all areas of the business to meet contractual requirements. You will examine performance and contractual deliverables / requirements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to bid specifications and contract terms. This will include advising management of contractual rights and obligations in accordance with contract terms, FAR / DFAR, and other government regulations. You will compile and maintain all required contractual records and documents in accordance with contract requirements and Company policies and procedures, which includes drafting terms and conditions for complex contracts / agreements and negotiating and administering Non-Disclosure, complex teaming, and other agreements in accordance with corporate policies and procedures, coordinating legal reviews as appropriate. By serving as the primary point of contact between Company Staff (Program Managers and Business Area Leads) and the Customer for all contractual matters on assigned contracts and projects including business agreements, you will provide sound business advice and counsel to all lines of business and your coordination across the many functions of the company to meet internal and external requirements and deadlines. You will actively contribute to the development and implementation of new business methods, processes, and contracting concepts in order to achieve business unit and contracts' goals and objectives to include providing guidance and mentorship to more junior staff.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills :

  • Bachelor's Degree and Eight (8) years of cradle to grave contracts experience in the area of Federal Government contracting
  • A minimum of one to two years of Proposal Preparation Experience
  • Ability to manage heavy workloads and meet deadlines independently
  • High level of expertise and knowledge in FAR / DFAR, export, and other government regulations
  • Strong organization skills, self-motivation, and task ownership with a solid work ethic
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of all contract types
  • Active and Current secret clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS / SCI

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills :

  • CPCM or related Certification desirable
  • TS / SCI Clearance
  • Pay Information :

    Full-Time Salary Range : $99,410 - $168,997. Please note : This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
