About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Must-Have : Previous charge experience preferred

Preferred patient ratio experience of 6

Description :

Behavioral Health night shifts available.

Every other weekend work required.

Successful candidates must hold BLS and CPI certifications.

A valid state RN license is mandatory.

Previous charge experience is preferred.

Experience with patient ratios of 6 patients to 1 nurse is desirable.

Familiarity with Epic charting system is preferred.

Experience in community hospitals is also preferred.

Travel experience is not required.

Candidates should possess skills in behavioral management techniques.

Knowledge of various psychiatric disorders is essential.

Crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques are necessary skills.

Candidates will be required to manage medication administration.

Experience with physical hold protocols and seclusion procedures is beneficial.

Ability to provide psychoeducation and support for various mental health conditions is important.

Caring for patients with substance use and dependency is expected.

Staff may float to similar units based on facility needs.

The unit supports interdisciplinary collaboration for comprehensive patient care.

Overall, a commitment to patient-centered care in a behavioral health setting is required.
