Medical Records Clerk Responsibilities :

  • As a medical records clerk you will gather patient information from a variety of sources.
  • You will maintain a master patient index.
  • You will maintain continuity of work operations by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • You will create new medical records and retrieve existing medical records.

    • Requirements :

    Medical Records Clerk Qualifications :

  • Advanced time management and organization skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • 1 year or more working in a related field or position.
  • Strong date entry skills.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology or ability to learn.
