CISO Intelligence Senior

Seeking a self-starting, motivated individual to be the Information System Security Officer maintaining compliance and strengthening the security posture of critical mission systems and their System Security Plans (SSPs) via the Risk Management Framework.

• Ensure the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for information systems.
• Support continuous monitoring of networks to detect and correct areas of security non-compliance, unmitigated vulnerabilities, and other risks.
• Follow consistent security processes and play a role in the information systems continuous monitoring program.
• Perform regular audits of information systems.
• Assist the information systems security manager in preparing the information system for periodic reaccreditation. Required Skills and
• TS / SCI with Polygraph Required
• Experience as an ISSO with emphasis on Defense-in-Depth principles, network, and enterprise security architecture.
• Experience applying the principles of the NIST 800-53 including the procedures in the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Bachelors degree plus 8-years of relevant experience or masters degree plus 6-years of relevant experience. An associates degree or 18 semesters hours of military coursework / training in a computer-related field plus 10-years of relevant experience or high school diploma / GED plus 12-years of relevant experience may be considered.
• Please note that actual compensation may vary based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidates qualifications, experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market conditions. In addition to base salary, candidates hired into this position may be eligible for a hiring bonus of $10,000.00, subject to applicable contingencies and Navstar policy.
