Job Description

Programme Office Manager owns the integrity, compliance, and accuracy of project data.

The gatekeeper, ensuring every project starts and finished on the right track.

Managing project governance, you'll ensure financial and operational best practices are

upheld. From setup to compliance monitoring, data integrity to issue resolution, you'll be the first line of defense for agency efficiency.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Chicago office

Key Accountabilities

  • Project Setup and Governance : Review and approve project setups in the agency's project management system, ensuring they meet established financial and operational best practices.
  • Compliance Monitoring : Track and monitor compliance with agency policies, identifying non-compliant projects or practices, and reporting issues to the Director.
  • Data Integrity Oversight : Regularly audit data within the project management system to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to governance standards for your assigned business units.
  • Issue Escalation and Resolution : Act as the primary point of contact for system compliance issues, escalating risks and collaborating with teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Process Improvement : Identify gaps or inefficiencies in project workflows and recommend enhancements to improve adherence to financial and operational controls.

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply best practices and policies in day-to-day work.
  • Demonstrated capability to work independently, and mentoring junior team members.
  • Bachelor's degree, diploma or vocational qualification.
  • Commitment To Policy

  • Apply HR, Finance and IT policies, seeking guidance and clarity as required.
  • Follow Health and Safety policies and report challenges as required.
  • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $59,182.95 - $69,182.95 annually. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
