JOB TITLE : Financial Empowerment Center Manager
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR : Financial Programs Coordinator
POSITION REPORTS : Financial Counselors
JOB SUMMARY :
The Tulsa FEC is a program provided by the City of Tulsa and executed by Goodwill Tulsa. The TFEC team provides one on one free financial counseling at various locations around the City, and virtually. The Program Manager has a caseload of financial counseling clients, supervises the Financial Counselors, and ensures overall success of the FEC program.
Ill. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Ensure optimal customer service and maintaining of program operations.
- Assists with program grant writing, planning, development of annual objectives and action plans and timely reporting related to tracking participants and services.
- Ensure compliance with government and grant regulations.
- Produce and / or review program reports as necessary.
- Provide oversight of program team, activities and logistics.
- Serve as liaison between program partners, colocation partners, core partners, funders and City of Tulsa.
- Train, schedule and manage Tulsa FEC Counselors.
- Provide continued coaching to Tulsa FEC Counselors
- Follows, enforces and provides training to assure that all safety rules and regulations are followed. Completes and submits any necessary forms and / or reports immediately, but no longer than within 24 hours, when an incident occurs. Maintains current certifications in First Aid and CPR and administers if required.

- Must have proven successful interpersonal relationship skills to maintain effective and satisfactory working relationships with staff, vendors, clients, visitors, and contractors.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions with ability to read, interpret and present information efficiently and effectively.
- Must be able to accurately audit records and ensure compliance with written or oral guidelines.
- Ability to take initiative, multi-task and work well under pressure.
- Must maintain strict confidentiality of extremely sensitive data, records, files, conversations, etc.
- Advanced organizational skills, efficiency skills, and excellent attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to completing assignments on a timely basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
- OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a valid Oklahoma Driver's License, with a good driving record.
- Must maintain appropriate requirements for legal vehicle operation including current automobile insurance and license plate.
- Must be eligible for favorable outcome on required criminal conviction background check.
- Must be sensitive to cultural diversity and the needs of low-income families.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must maintain Goodwill's Drug-Free Workplace.

- EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :
Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline, 3 to 5 years of related work experience. Ability to use Microsoft Office software at an intermediate level. Acquire and maintain certification as a Certified Credit Counselor.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :Talking, hearing, stooping, crouching, reaching, handling, fingering, seeing and accommodation.
Lifting / Carrying / Pushing / Pulling : Light Work - Lifting 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and / or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
