Certifications : BLS, ACLS required

Must-Have : Level I trauma experience; experience in general, ortho, spine, trauma, and neuro cases

Description :

Position requires an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse.

Shift is 3 x 12 days from 07 : 00 to 19 : 00 with a weekend block of Friday to Sunday.

Ratios are 1 : 1.

First-time travelers accepted.

Limited on-call requirements; 8 weeknight shifts may be assigned in an 8-week period.

Must have experience scrubbing for high volume orthopedic, trauma, and spine cases.

Experience in craniotomies and other neurosurgical procedures is required.

Position within a Level I trauma center with 11 operating rooms.

Candidates should perform well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Floating to other areas may be required based on need and skill set.

All employees are expected to adhere to quality and patient safety standards.

Preferred candidates may have previous charge experience and familiarity with Cerner charting system.

All candidates must complete necessary compliance documentation in a timely manner.

References are required prior to start.

This position does not require pediatric experience.
