Senior Project Manager - Commercial Construction

An established and growth-focused general contractor based in the Beloit / Rockford area is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex commercial, institutional, and industrial construction projects. This firm is recognized for its innovative construction solutions,  and client-focused approach that delivers exceptional results across design-build and construction management projects.

As a Senior Project Manager , you’ll take ownership of large-scale, high-profile projects from preconstruction through closeout. You’ll serve as a key leader within the organization—mentoring project teams, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring projects are executed with the highest standards for quality, safety, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead projects from concept to completion

Oversee budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, and contract administration

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and key stakeholders

Collaborate with field superintendents, estimators etc

Drive team performance, mentor junior PMs, and help shape project delivery strategy

Ensure full compliance with safety, quality, and performance benchmarks

Qualifications

8+ years of project management experience in commercial construction

Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar ground-up and renovation projects

Strong leadership and client-facing communication skills

Deep understanding of project financials, scheduling, and contract negotiation

Proficiency with project management platforms (e.g., Procore, MS Project, etc.)

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
