Experienced Childcare Floater (Part or Full Time) | High Point

We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic experienced Floater Teacher to join our team. As a Childcare Floater, you will play a vital role in assisting teachers in the classroom and/or shutting down classrooms.

Pay rate starting at $15-$17 per hour

Pay rate is determined by relevant education and experience. Candidates with EDU 119 to an associate’s degree in early childhood education or a related field may be paid mid-range. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood education or a related field and applicable experience may be paid at the higher end of the range.

Floater Teacher Duties:

• Assists in supervising children to ensure safety.
• Builds relationships with the children through active play.
• Light classroom cleaning duties.
• Ensure a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
• Support children’s social and emotional development.
• Use our app to communicate and build relationships with families.

Requirements

• Proof of High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months of experience working at a licensed childcare center required.
• Minimum of EDU 119 / NCECC certificate is required
• AA degree in ECE or a related field preferred

*Pay rate is determined by education and experience. Employees with a high school diploma and limited experience will be paid at the lower scale rate. Employees with at least EDU 119 to Associates will be paid mid-scale and applicants with a BA or higher and experience will be paid at the high end of the scale.
