RN Invasive Cardiology Summary of Responsibilities : Care for critically ill patients in Cardiac Cath Lab undergoing Interventional Cardiology and Endovascular procedures. Will be assigned STEMI call with a 30-min. response time. Mandatory Qualifications : Must have Cath Lab Experience as well as preoperative / postoperative skills, and experience with monitoring and sedation of patients. Proficient with advanced hemodynamic monitoring such as IABP and IMPELLA. Experience with ventilator management a must. Required Licenses / Certifications prior to start : Valid RN licensure in the state of Ohio; ACLS and BLS from the AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION ONLY. Physical Environment : May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently during the day. May need to stand for extended periods. See in the normal vision range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Ability to lift 250-300 lbs. with assistance. Ability to push / pull up to 500 lbs. with assistance. Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids. Requires some exposure to chemicals and cleaning products. Network Access and / or applications needed : EPIC, XPER, Change Health Care.
Shift : 0630-5; 0700-1700, 0800-1800. Holidays and On-Call shifts to be assigned by unit rotation. Minimum call back for STEMI of 4 hours.
