Summary
The Compensation Analyst plays a strategic role in advancing compensation and incentive programs through data-driven analysis, governance, and continuous improvement. This role partners closely ? HR, Finance, and Senior Leadership to evaluate, administer, and enhance variable pay and compensation structures in alignment with our mission, financial stewardship, and long-term sustainability. The Analyst is responsible not only for ensuring accuracy and compliance, but also for delivering insights, recommendations, and post-cycle evaluations that strengthen program effectiveness, equity, and organizational impact.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct job analysis using established documentation and job / market review principles, ensuring consistency across internal roles.
- Evaluate job descriptions to determine appropriate salary ranges and classification levels.
- Assist with development, review, and maintenance of job descriptions to ensure standardization, clarity, and alignment with organizational needs.
- Perform market pricing analyses based on salary surveys, market data, industry benchmarks, and internal equity considerations.
- Support compensation initiatives such as salary updates, adjustments, and incentive programs.
- Administer the annual compensation review cycle, supporting HR and leadership teams in reviewing employee pay decisions.
- Assist with organizational budgeting efforts by developing salary projections se identifying workforce trends.
- Maintain compensation-related data in internal systems to ensure accuracy and usability for reporting.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance on compensation audits to ensure regulatory and internal compliance.
- Prepare compensation reports using internal and external data sources.
- Support the design and implementation of compensation programs that maintain CHMIs competitive positioning.
- Respond to compensation-related inquiries, offering clear explanations and guidance where needed.
- Assist in identifying process improvements and opportunities for enhanced data use.
- Participate in other HR initiatives as assigned.
