Part-Time Bookkeeper
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper with a strong background in accounting and QuickBooks Online to support three of our clients. This is a remote, flexible role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and is passionate about improving processes.
Key Responsibilities :
Maintain books for multiple entities using cash and accrual accounting methods
Manage accounts payable / receivable, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate transaction coding
Generate and analyze P&L statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements
Process payroll via Paychex, ADP, or Gusto; manage PTO, sick pay, and benefit deductions
Collaborate via Slack, manage documents in Hubdoc, and track time in QuickBooks Time
Help refine and document accounting processes
Write professional emails and communicate clearly with team members
Support construction industry-specific bookkeeping tasks (preferred but not required)
Required Qualifications :
Degree in Accounting and knowledge of GAAP
1015 years bookkeeping experience across multiple companies
810 years experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO Certification required)
57 years payroll processing experience
Experience in the construction industry (preferred)
Comfortable learning new tools (Gmail, Excel, Word, etc.)
Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Positive, curious, detail-oriented, and process-minded
Note : Approx. 10 hours / week; checking in 3 times per week during PST hours.
