Cardiothoracic PA or NP

Description

Responsibilities under the supervision of a physician include:

• Endoscopic vein and artery harvesting

• OR first and second assisting

• Some outpatient clinic responsibility

• History and physical exams

• Rounding on floor and ICU patients

• Heavy census management

Minimum Qualifications:

• Licensed or eligible to practice in the state of Georgia.

• Surgical and/or Cardiac experience.

• BLS certification required.

• NPs must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, have ANCC (or equivalent) and be Acute Care Certified (ACNP or AGACNP)
