Summary :
Join our dynamic team as a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist, where you will coordinate and perform diagnostic medical imaging procedures, working closely with Radiologists and utilizing advanced ultrasound imaging equipment.
Responsibilities :
- Perform a variety of high-quality vascular ultrasound procedures under minimal supervision, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
- Document calibration procedures for imaging equipment to maintain operational standards.
- Coordinate and manage workflows effectively, making quick decisions in emergent cases to maximize efficiency.
- Assist the Radiologist with invasive biopsy procedures by accurately locating specified anatomical areas using ultrasound guidance.
- Conduct all requested vascular ultrasound exams, enhancing diagnostic capabilities.
- Ensure accurate procedure charging and submit all charges daily for effective billing.
- Maintain an adequately supplied ultrasound room, checking equipment for readiness and addressing any issues promptly to ensure seamless workflow.
- Provide patient care that meets the specific developmental needs of individuals across various age groups.
- Adapt assessments to account for the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, and developmental needs of each patient.

Requirements : Education / Skills :
Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiological Sciences, Ultrasound Technology, or an equivalent program.Experience :
Preferred one (1) year of clinical experience in ultrasound.Experience in performing exams such as carotid arteries, upper / lower extremity veins and arteries, abdominal aorta, and flow systems is highly desired.Knowledge of plethysmography for arterial and venous circulation evaluation is a plus.Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications :
Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification is required.Registration from recognized credentialing bodies for Ultrasound Technologists is mandatory.American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS), Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ultrasound) certification is required.BLS certification is essential.Work Schedule : 7AM - 7PM
