Job Summary : To assist in the operation of a Base Supply Center in compliance with AbilityOne Program, Alphapointe, federal, and military guidelines. Perform all aspects of customer service in a military retail store environment. Communicate with customers via phone and email and process incoming orders. Assist customer with product selection and perform cashier related duties.

Essential Functions :

• Receive payment for goods purchased in the form of Government Purchase Card or other authorized form of payment.
• Build relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
• Assist customers by answering product questions and suggesting information about other products and services.
• Provide tracking and status on outstanding orders.
• Maintain transaction records and register reconciliation documentation.
• Operate cash register with peripheral electronic data processing equipment
• Inventory, store, price, and restock merchandise displays.
• Assist customers in the selection of required uniform, deployment and tactical gear products.
• Set up advertising signs and display merchandise on shelves, counters, or tables to attract customers and promote sales.
• Clean display cases, shelves, and aisles.
