Intensive Care Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM

Experience :

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 4 years.
• Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Additional Details :

Required Skills / Experience : Vents, drips (sedation, vasoactive, etc.), and stroke (using NIHSS, thrombolytics).

Preferred Skills / Experience : Charge and Precepting experience strongly

Types of Patients on Unit : Sepsis. Pneumonia, COPD, Asthma, AKI, CKI, Diabetes, DKA, PE, Overdose, post bariatric surgery, tPA- stroke center

Unit / Facility Details : Number of Beds : 12

Nurse Patient Ratios : 2 patients : 1 RN and 3-4 for borders

Will be required to work both ICU and PCU / Tele about 50 / 50

Special Requests : All time off must be included on submission to be considered. Time off not included on submission will not be requested or approved.

Shift & Scheduling : Ever other weekend

Holidays negotiable.

Floating Requirements : Between PCU and ICU (Mostly PCU)

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager / Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission

Driver's license required for submission
