General Manufacturing Associate

Location: Denver, CO 80216

Shift Schedule: M-Th, 7:00AM - 3:30PM; OT on Fridays when necessary

Pay: $20/hr.

Experience: 6-12 Months Previous Manufacturing/Production Experience is required. This is an entry level type position.

Responsibilities for this position include manual labor in various departments depending on current shop load and demand:

• Counting and packaging products to be shipped to customer.
• Verification of completed and accurate paperwork.
• Operation of hand tools including right angle grinders and orbital sander to remove sharp edges and burrs created during the manufacturing process.
• Load parts from pallets onto overhead conveyor system.
• Pressure wash parts to remove oil contamination and debris.
• Unload parts onto pallet after coating is complete.
• Once a machine is setup run the production lot.
• Operational processes include bending, punching, cutting, drilling, tapping, etc.
• Mechanical assembly including nuts, bolts, and hardware of metal enclosures and frames.

General Manufacturing Associate Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and be able to stand, bend, lift, crouch 8-9 hours a day.
• Show up every day on time and ready to work.
• Ability to safely operate basic tools including grinders, punches, tape measure, utility knives, wrenches, etc.
• Use a data collection system to track time on jobs and estimate completion times.
• Follow directions and ask questions when clarification is required.
• Communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written.
