Plumber

Location :

• Columbus, OH Employment Type : Full-time | Non-exempt Compensation : $25–$35 / hour DOE + overtime Schedule : Monday–Friday; occasional evenings / weekends as needed Role Summary Skilled plumber to install, diagnose, and repair residential and light commercial plumbing systems while ensuring full code compliance, safety, and a high standard of customer service.
• Key Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain water, drain, vent, and gas systems (fixtures, water heaters, pumps).
• Perform accurate diagnostics; document findings, parts, and labor in work orders.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and code-compliant corrections.
• Read / interpret plans, isometrics, and cut sheets; coordinate with GC / owners.
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures; maintain clean, stocked vehicle.
• Provide clear, professional customer communication.
• Qualifications Valid Ohio Plumbing License (Journeyman or higher preferred). 2+ years verifiable residential or commercial service experience.
• Proficiency with IPC / Ohio code, brazing / soldering, press systems (e.g., ProPress), PVC / CPVC, PEX, copper, and cast-iron no-hub.
• Able to use mobile work-order apps; basic blueprint reading.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR; ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and on ladders.
