Tax Accountant

HHM CPAs is seeking an experienced Tax Senior to help prepare business and individual returns.

This role will be onsite in Chattanooga, TN.

Your Responsibilities:

• Prepare tax forms 1040, 1065, 1120s and 990
• Complete extensive tax research and act as a resource to clients and staff
• Achieve sustained value by originating and/ or maintaining client relationships for the firm
• Contribute to the development of employees through mentorship

Your Qualifications:

• Relevant work experience in public accounting firms combined with advanced academic qualifications; CPA is a plus
• 3+ years of public accounting at a national/regional level
• Proficiency with tax software such as ProSystems, CCH, RIA, and/or Engagement Manager
• Experience with the tax aspects of business transaction issues, individual returns, partnerships, trusts, and estates
