We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Warwick, Rhode Island. In this long-term contract role, you will oversee financial operations, ensuring precision and compliance across accounting processes. Responsibilities :

• Manage month-end closing activities, ensuring all processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Oversee the full cycle of accounting operations, maintaining records and compliance with financial regulations.
• Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly financial statements to provide insights into business performance.
• Conduct balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform variance analyses to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze and manage financial data effectively.
• Collaborate on process optimization initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance automation.
• Leverage accounting software systems such as Oracle and CRM to support financial reporting and operations.
• Ensure adherence to auditing standards while managing accounts payable and other financial functions.
• Contribute to the development and monitoring of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Proven experience in full-cycle accounting and month-end closing procedures.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas and data analysis.
• Familiarity with financial software systems such as Oracle, Concur, and CRM platforms.
• Strong understanding of B / S account reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Ability to optimize processes and implement automation strategies.
• Knowledge of auditing standards and accounts payable functions.
• Experience in preparing financial statements and managing budget processes.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
