Sr. Director, Major Capital Project
The Sr. Director, Major Capital Project role is a leadership position within the TIP NA organization that will direct a portfolio of Saint-Gobain major Capex projects (12 BUs, over 100 existing sites) in North America. This position will have oversight over budgets held by the project managers with a combined typical annual spend of $200M - $300M, with individual projects of $150-300M value, ensuring compliance with prescribed SG procedures managing team resources to ensure projects are within time and budget. The Sr. Director, Major Capital Projects will execute this through effective leadership of a cross-cultural and functional team of skilled Technical and Managerial experts and will set training plans for project managers inside TIP NA and the TIP NA commissioning team.

What Do You Bring?
Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Electrical field required; Master's degree preferred. 10+ years' experience as a project manager on large / medium-sized engineering or construction projects required 5+ years of experience in site management on multiple industrial / civil projects as a project manager is required 5+ years of experience leading teams with direct and indirect reports 50-60% Travel requirement within North America; Occasional international travel anticipated. Leadership and People Management Strategic Thinking Financial acumen Communication skills Risk Management Negotiation and conflict resolution Project Management Front End Loading Knowledge of construction techniques Familiarity with building codes and regulations across multiple states / provinces Safety and contractor / construction site safety Clear knowledge of contract forms and particulars Site management experience on multiple projects, as project manager. Proven track record working with project management methodology Ability to influence key senior stakeholders in the business. Project Management Certification / PMO Professional preferred

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $195,500.00 to $312,500.00 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 36% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $265,880.00 to $425,000.00. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
