Pay and base salary

Base pay range : $205,600.00 / yr - $274,500.00 / yr

The Team and Role

The Director, Corporate Strategy is a senior leader who will lead several cross‑functional projects and manage a team. You will influence key elements of eBay’s strategy and help shape its direction. The ideal candidate has a track record of pragmatic, concrete recommendations with real‑world implementation experience, strong analytic skills, and the ability to develop creative, well‑thought‑out solutions for challenging business problems.

Role Responsibilities

• Strategy Development : Develop strategies for eBay to differentiate in the market, craft key initiatives, and work with key constituencies to gain consensus.
• Project leadership : Independently lead cross‑functional projects involving executives and senior partners.
• Thought leadership : Develop content and topic expertise, structure problems, and develop creative solutions to challenges.
• Strategy Mobilization : Support mobilization and implementation of business strategies across the organization.
• Market and Competitive Analysis : Generate market intelligence on trends and advise on strategic implications.
• Business Analytics : Perform analysis to identify, prioritize, structure, and solve problems.
• Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a driven strategy team in developing and executing initiatives.
• Communication : Develop storylines and present to senior leadership.
• Leading through uncertainty : Self‑direct and manage resources to deliver quality end‑products in a dynamic environment.

Other information

The base pay range for this position is expected to be $205,600 - $274,500 . Base pay offered may vary based on location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may include a target bonus and restricted stock units, along with a full range of medical and other benefits. Employees are in an at‑will position.
