Who
exactly are UPS Warehouse Worker / Temporary Cover Drivers?
They work inside as a warehouse
worker and when needed, they’re the ones who drive our familiar
brown trucks, bringing packages great and small to our customers.
They’re a friendly, physically active crew who enjoy being
outdoors, fast-paced work, and being behind the wheel!
While functioning as a temporary cover driver, also known
as TCD, you will be required to :
Work
8 – 10 hours each day (Monday through Friday) or (Tuesday –
Saturday)
Have excellent customer contact and
driving skills
While functioning as
a warehouse worker you will :
Typically work 3 ½ - 5 hours each day (Monday
through Friday) or (Tuesday-Saturday)
Be
required to work your assigned shift (based on operational
needs)
So, what does
it take to make it through a busy shift either loading / unloading
boxes or delivering boxes of all shapes and sizes to homes and
businesses in your community and beyond?
Valid driver’s license—no CDL required (Type varies by
State)
Temporary cover drivers are expected to comply with UPS
appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided
uniform
