Base pay range
$100,000.00 / yr - $130,000.00 / yr
Responsibilities
Procon Consulting is seeking an Electrical Engineer for an opportunity in the Fargo, ND area on a large federal project. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, construction, design / build, architecture and engineering, space management, and facilities management for complex construction projects. The role requires 6 years of electrical engineering experience on construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and requirements :
Responsibilities and Duties
- Interface with clients to define project requirements.
- Review schedules, align project work plans, and meet deadlines.
- Monitor on-site processes, procedures, systems for compliance with drawings, security, and codes.
- Coordinate and monitor activities throughout all project phases.
- Oversee project design or construction efforts, including risk management, security, and safety compliance.
- Assist the Contracting Officer and COR with acquisition planning, technical reviews, and documentation.
- Provide project management support, ensuring compliance with directives and standards.
- Offer technical support, manage electronic documents, and liaise with government agencies and contractors.
- Understand and comply with local, state, and federal jurisdiction requirements.
- Utilize software skills for monitoring, updating, and producing work products.
- Hold a BA or BS in construction, architecture, or engineering-related field.
- Have experience on projects larger than $1M in value.
- Possess a Professional Engineering license.
- Experience with occupied building renovations, federal, or commercial projects is preferred.
- Implement project management principles effectively.
- Analyze project information and communicate status and issues clearly.
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract terms; working knowledge of CPM scheduling.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, Revit, Prolog, etc.
- Coordinate with architects and engineers on design and construction documents.
- Review design submittals, cost and schedule estimates, and report programmatic info.
