As an essential member of the Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for the repairs, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of various industrial equipment, systems, and components. - Compensation: $30.07 - $45.11 per hour.
Your Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and identify equipment issues using observation and precise measurement tools.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff on repairs, both emergency and routine.
- Diagnose and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and their related systems.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, operation manuals, and engineering specifications for maintenance tasks.
- Conduct boiler chemical testing and make necessary adjustments as needed.
- Perform daily and weekly safety checks on boilers, addressing repairs as required.
- Inspect and maintain motors, belts, fluid levels, and other equipment according to protocols.
- Engage in basic welding activities for repair work on facilities and equipment.
- Lubricate and clean various equipment parts according to technical manuals.
- Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
- Take on additional responsibilities as directed by team leaders.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; a two-year technical degree is preferred.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Familiarity with industrial maintenance of facilities and equipment is essential.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in repairing industrial processing equipment is required; military experience is also considered.
- Must pass UniFirst's maintenance knowledge assessment.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics is necessary.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding maintenance literature in English is required.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, are essential.
- Experience with Lockout/Tagout procedures is required.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Capability to lift up to 80 lbs.
