Job description
Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $3204

$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS

Opportunity:

IR Tech - IR Tech

Job Details:

• Independently circulate and scrub IR basic to complex procedures
• Work with imaging equipment including Siemens and GE systems
• Handle ultrasounds using GE equipment
• Accept travelers with 1 year of experience and first-time travelers with IR experience
• Department operates 24/7 treating adult patients only (no pediatrics)
• See approximately 40-50 patients per day on average
• Required certifications: RT(R), ARRT, BLS, Wisconsin License
• Must be skilled in scrubbing and panning simultaneously
• Experience with general IR cases required, charging/coding experience preferred
• Work with EMR system EPIC, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, Change Healthcare PACS
• Equipment includes MedRad injector, IVUS, ultrasound, laser, bovie, and angiojet
• 1-2 week orientation with preceptor and check-off process
• General IR shift times: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Neuro shift times: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• On-call responsibilities: weekday call 1 shift per week, weekend call once every 5th weekend
• 30-minute response time for call situations
• No floating to other departments
• Scrubs provided, free parking in structure with badge access

Facility:

This healthcare facility is a Level III Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center with Magnet designation, featuring 933 beds and a Level III NICU. The interventional radiology department operates 5 rooms with 24/7 staffing and comprehensive support services including respiratory therapy and hospitalist coverage. The facility specializes in both general IR procedures and neuro IR interventions, with strong support staff including coordinators, lead techs, and specialists to ensure optimal patient care.
