Summary
We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our team at Fradkin Fine Construction, Inc. This role is pivotal in overseeing residential construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities
- Project Leadership : Lead and direct a crew of carpenters, assigning tasks, and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Carpentry Expertise : Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks, including rough and finish carpentry, framing, trim work, and installation of cabinetry, doors, and windows.
- Blueprint Interpretation : Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Project Management : Manage project schedules, budgets, and material ordering.
- Client Communication : Communicate effectively with clients to address questions, concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
- Safety and Compliance : Ensure a safe work environment, adhere to company policies, and comply with building codes.
- Training and Development : Train and mentor less experienced carpenters.
- Quality Control : Monitor work quality and ensure it meets specifications.
- Job Site Management : Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving : Address issues and find solutions to ensure project completion.
Requirements
