What you'll do
- Interpret and work from assembly drawings, parts lists, operation sheets, manufacturing procedures, and visual aids.
- Assemble mechanical devices for hydraulic and pneumatic valves; install components, route wiring, and perform hand soldering on assembly units.
- Record progress in traveler / routers; verify requirements and functional criteria; provide objective evidence to Quality Control.
- Perform mechanical assembly and acceptance testing to blueprints and ATP’s.
- Run hydraulic / pneumatic test stands and conduct electrical tests (Dielectrical, Ohm Meter, DITMCO).
- Meet productivity commitments while maintaining high accuracy; perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and finished work.
- Follow FOD and ESD controls and proper material handling practices.
- Use standard hand and power tools : screwdrivers, torque and standard wrenches, pliers, nut drivers, power drivers, soldering irons, and crimping tools.
- Handle small parts with dexterity; take on additional duties as assigned.
What you bring
High School Diploma or equivalent (High School / GED).2+ years of mechanical assembly experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.Aerospace industry background preferred; electrical experience is helpful.Strengths in troubleshooting (mechanical and general), soldering, blueprint reading, organization, analysis, and communication.Ability to work with minimal supervision; comfortable sitting for long periods when required.Performance expectations
