Job Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant role is a crucial position for those who rely on others for basic daily care, such as bathing, eating, and personal hygiene. Caregivers typically work with elderly or disabled individuals in a facility or home care setting. All assignments are per diem (as needed) / On Call

Annual income potential of $50,000 - $55,000+ for long-term commitment to assignments possible.
Caregiver Responsibilities :
Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
Assist clients with medications, ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed
Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals
Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors, and family members
Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors, and family members
Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Requirements :
Prior experience as a professional caregiver, healthcare environment, hospice, in-home care, group home,
CNA or PCA
2+ years professional experience REQUIRED
Must have training and on the job experience with dementia patients, hoyer lifts, safe transfer skills and hospice
Ability to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for every shift (this requirement does not apply to live-in caregivers, however, we do prefer that you have a valid driver's license)
Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
Outstanding communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
Physical endurance to complete required tasks
High school diploma or equivalent
Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
Available to work different shifts, including nights and / or weekends
Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing
Must complete all Covid-19 training and follow protocols put in place
