About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist

Profession : Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Specialty : RRT-NICU

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Day 3x12-Hour

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum 2 years in NICU / PICU required

License : New Mexico License accepted pending at the time of submission

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, RRT

Must-Have :

• NRP certification upon submission
• Experience in both NICU and PICU required
• Trauma Level I experience required

Description :

This position requires a respiratory therapist specializing in NICU care.

The therapist will be providing care for neonates and infants.

They will assist in high-risk deliveries and perform procedures such as endotracheal tube placement and suctioning.

Interpretation of arterial blood gases is also a key responsibility.

Therapists will float to adult units as needed.

Weekend shifts may be required based on unit needs.

This role involves working with advanced ventilatory support.

Experience with high-frequency jet ventilation is preferred.

Candidates must expect to work in a Level I trauma environment.

COVID vaccination is required, with exemptions accepted under specific conditions.

Travelers are expected to meet compliance requirements promptly.

Documentation of transportation to the facility is necessary.
