Do you enjoy working with simple and fresh ingredients? Do you have culinary experience? Come join us at CKC, a fast-casual fresh eatery that serves scratch food in a fast paced open kitchen. We love food and we love providing an excellent guest experience to each person that walks through our door. We are looking for talented cooks to join our team. Our Kitchen Crew are the first step to ensuring that all our recipes are done to the standard we set out to do!

  • What you’ll do :
  • Follow recipes, prep specifications and quality standards on all food production tasks including dressings, sauces, rubs, braising, soups and stocks
  • Preparing, washing, peeling and / or cutting various food items to be cooked or served
  • Carrying equipment, food supplies and utensils to and from work and storage areas
  • Utilizing knives and performing food prep in a safe and efficient manner
  • Executing cooking techniques including grilling and sautéing
  • Working in a team environment, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are being adhered to
  • Maintain a prepared and sanitary work area
  • Ensure that managers are informed of low inventory and malfunctioning equipment
  • Wash and sanitize all utensils, cutting boards, bowls and other tools
  • Assist with food prep if needed
  • What you need :
  • Cooking experience
  • Must have considerable knowledge of cooking methods and food preparation procedures
  • Ability to lift food trays and boxes up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while also maintaining high operational standards
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Must understand and execute food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Standing, stooping, kneeling, walking, wiping, reaching, bending and lifting may be required
  • Availability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, weekends, and / or holidays

    Pay : $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

    Expected hours : 10 – 40 per week
