Inventory Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Specialist who excels in managing product returns, inspections, and restocking. The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory tracking systems and maintaining accurate stock levels, along with proficient data entry skills for processing returns and updating inventory records.

Responsibilities

  • Handle product returns, inspections, and restocking efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels using inventory tracking systems.
  • Perform accurate and efficient data entry for processing returns and updating inventory records.
  • Conduct cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints related to returns with strong communication skills.
  • Identify issues in the return process and implement effective solutions.
  • Inspect returned items meticulously to ensure proper documentation.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in handling returns, inventory, shipping, and receiving.
  • Experience with inventory control and logistics.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Microsoft products and Infor ERP (no prior ERP experience needed).
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing and / or heating is a plus.
  • High school diploma or Associate's degree is required.

    Work Environment

    Work hours are from 8 AM to 4 : 30 PM, Monday to Friday. The position is based in our Minneapolis location, within a dynamic and growing company that has been involved in significant projects such as the US Bank Stadium. The dress code is casual, suitable for a warehouse and office setting.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00 / hr.
