Job Opportunity at Los Alamos National Laboratory
The selected candidate will report to the LANL Gas Facility Operations Manager, under Logistics - Packaging & Transportation (LOG-PT) and will provide gas delivery and pickup operational and administrative support to the Gas Facility. The Gas Facility offers a variety of services including but not limited to scheduling & delivery of gas shipments across the Laboratory including specialty gas orders, chemical management, and engineering services. As a member of the Gas Facility's Transportation Specialist team, the selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily operational activities on behalf of Gas Facility team members including the delivery and pickup of gasses on-site and off-site (as necessary) and internal and external communications with customers & subcontractors. The Transportation Specialist will be responsible for other tasks, including but not limited to : processes & procedure development, inventory control, and participation in projects and assessments. Location : The work location for this position is onsite and located in Los Alamos, NM. All work locations are at the discretion of management.
Position commitment : Regular appointment employees are required to serve a period of continuous service in their current position in order to be eligible to apply for posted jobs throughout the Laboratory.
