Summary
Summary : The Pharmacy Systems Specialist is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and managing information technology in the clinical areas. Coordinates the planning for automation of patient care, the implementation of clinical systems, the integration with other hospitals systems, the maintenance of existing clinical systems, and the provision of system support services meeting the needs of the clinical care areas. Facilitates the increased use of information technology in Pharmacy practice, education and administration. Manages the clinical information resources to support clinical and management decision making. Ability to analyze and solve work problems; to interpret and apply departmental policies, and to effectively implement and maintain clinical systems in conjunction with departmental personnel and physicians.
Requirements : Education :
Experience : 2 - 4 years of experience required
License : Pharmacist License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license
