We are currently hiring a Quality Assurance Manager with experience pertaining to materials and / or packaging.

The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining the plants Quality System.

Develops and maintains the documentation for the Quality System, including the Quality Systems Manual.

Oversees the operation of the QA Lab.

Oversees maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.

Oversees training of QA technicians.

Writes lab procedures, including test methods.

Writes internal specifications for products produced by Hanover Foils, including list of tests to be performed and their limits.

Sets up QA job jackets.

Reviews and signs off on completed QA job jackets.

Issues Certificates of Analysis to customers for products provided by the plant.

Performs QA testing when QA technician is not available.

Maintains QA hold log and corrective actions.

Bachelor's degree or 5 years of experience working in Quality Assurance required.

Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office Excel, Outlook and Word).

Ability to think critically and perform a root cause analysis.

Scientific background preferred.

HACCP training a plus.

Experience and exposure within areas like Chemistry, Metallurgy, Food Safety, Food Safety Audits, Packaging Science, Materials Science, IR Spectroscopy, Gas Chromatography.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00 / hr.
