PHYSICIAN - General Surgery - Jamestown, ND

Join Essentia Health's new Level IV community hospital in Jamestown, ND for a General Surgery practice in a high-tech, high-volume setting. The hospital features 25 beds, 3 operating rooms, 4 CRNAs, and an adjacent clinic building.

Job Description

  • Anticipated schedule : block schedule at the community hospital with additional clinic time for procedures and surgeries; 1 weekend per month, 4 weekdays per month, and 1 holiday per year call on Essentia Health. JRMC has no call expectation.
  • Special procedures preferred but not required : C-sections. Upcoming ultrasound unit available for surgeons.

Practice Specifics

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified / Board Eligible in General Surgery.

    • Location

  • 90 minutes from Fargo, 3 hours from Winnipeg, Canada, and 4½ hours from Minneapolis / St. Paul.
  • Jamestown population : 15,000.

    • Compensation

    $520,000 annually, with potential for additional bonuses, quality incentives, and production-based compensation.
