Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Job Opportunity : Locum OB / GYN in Langhorne, PA St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Locum OB / GYN for call coverage in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. This position involves working in a hospital setting with a call ratio of 1 : 6 among four physicians in the practice. The facility is well-equipped with onsite lab and ultrasound services, offering a supportive environment for both high-risk and low-risk pregnancies. Job Responsibilities : Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including routine and high-risk pregnancies. Perform low and high-risk obstetric procedures, including routine vaginal deliveries and C-sections. Handle complicated deliveries, including breech presentations and multiple births. Conduct gynecological surgeries, including laparoscopic and open procedures. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care. Participate in 24-hour weekday shifts and 48-hour weekend shifts as scheduled. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to the highest standards of medical practice. Qualifications : Board certified in OB / GYN - Required Active Pennsylvania State License or active IMLC with willingness to obtain PA License - Required BLS and ACLS certification - Required Experience with a variety of obstetric and gynecological procedures - Preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Essential License and Certification Requirements : Active Pennsylvania State License or active IMLC BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - Required Board Certification in OB / GYN - Required Langhorne, PA is a charming community offering a blend of suburban tranquility and vibrant local culture.
