$325 to $350 per hour

About The Position

Emergency Medicine Locums Physician, South Carolina - Night Shifts

Night shift Emergency Medicine assignment in South Carolina located 2 hours from Charlotte, NC

Highlights

  • Full-APP support with scribe assist
  • 8-hour PM shifts
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Overall the hospital is covering 12-14 night shifts per month; you pick your blocks

Practice Setting

  • Newly built 80-bed ED, designed for 100,000 annual visits
  • Level II trauma center with full APP, extender, and scribe support
  • All emergency procedures expected; full-scope practice

    • Schedule

  • 8-hour night shifts (11p-7a); optional 12-hour (7p-7a) shifts
  • Orientation required before first shift (weekday only)
  • Ongoing monthly need; dates still available

    • Cases and Procedures

  • Medical emergencies for all ages
  • High-acuity care handled onsite; minimal transfers
  • Must be comfortable managing full ED scope independently

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (no Family Medicine)
  • Active SC medical license, DEA, and CSR
  • EM residency trained

    • Travel Accommodations

  • Flights, lodging, rental car, and mileage included
  • Orientation travel also covered
