Traveling Electro-Mechanical Technician - Diagnostics Expert

5+ years of experience in electrical and mechanical field service or industrial maintenance, with essential skills in diagnosing and troubleshooting PLC and VFD systems is a requirement to be considered

A relevant degree is a

Up to 75% domestic and international travel via airplane and automobile

Pay is up to $35 hourly

Must be a United States or Green Card holder

No remote

Full-time

Permanent W-2 employee

This full-time, permanent Traveling Electro-Mechanical Technician - Diagnostics Expert career opportunity is at a financially stable, employee-owned company that created their dynamic industry. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following :

Participating in product installations, start-ups and repairs at the customer site and / or on the telephone

Supporting customers at the customer site and on the telephone

Following up with customers to ensure their satisfaction

Traveling 65-75% travel to domestic locations as well as France, Chile, Columbia, Mexico and / or Canada

The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered for this position :

A 2 year degree in an electrical or maintenance related area or equivalent

5+ years of electrical field service, mechanical field service and / or industrial maintenance experience

Experience troubleshooting PLCs and variable frequency drives

Ability to do up to 75% domestic and international travel via airplane and automobile

Possess a valid passport and a valid drivers license

A solid work history

A US or possess a green card

A residence within 45 minutes
