Job descriptionMaster's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field Minimum 3 years of experience in basic chemistry (experience with scale-up and manufacturing of new chemical products is a plus) Bilingual in English and Japanese (both oral and written) Experience in materials characterization (e.g., XPS, SEM, TEM / STEM, EDS, XRF, ellipsometer, goniometer) preferred Comfortable handling hazardous chemicals and following strict safety procedures Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills Ability to work in lab or cleanroom environment while wearing PPE May involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Must be alert to potential hazards and capable of safe chemical handling Research and develop advanced chemical materials for semiconductor surface preparation and cleaning technologies Conduct experiments and analyze results using lab instruments and analytical tools Prepare technical documentation, reports, and communicate findings to internal and external partners Collaborate with global R&D teams to transfer insights into scalable production processes Support ISO 9001 / 14001 continuous improvement activities and safe lab practices Assist in chemical inventory, equipment setup, and maintenance tasks

Salary : $86,000-$90,000 per year

Location : Hillsboro, OR (On-site)
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm
