JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

Electrophysiology Technologist

EP TECH

Full-Time

Electrophysiology Technologist candidates will have the following job responsibilities :

Operating medical equipment to map a cardiovascular system
Preparing patients for procedures or tests
Performing diagnostic tests, such as digital imaging for the cardiac system
Checking a patient's heartbeat pattern
Monitoring and maintaining cardiovascular equipment
Observing data during a cardiac procedure
Collaborating with a medical team to read and analyze data
Assisting cardiologists during cardiac procedures
Referring patients to specialists or other physicians
Reading data from electrocardiograms (EKGs)
Interpreting an EKG and identifying potential heart conditions
Assisting physicians during the installation of medical devices, such as pacemakers

JOB QUALIFICATIONS-

Electrophysiology Technologist

EP TECH

Full-Time

Electrophysiology Technologist candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications :

1 year of recent acute care EP Tech experience required!

Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Associate Degree

Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) with a Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
