Cardinal Staffing Services is seeking an Accounting Manager on behalf of a reputable manufacturing company in Lansing, Michigan. In this key leadership position, you'll lead a committed accounting team, champion financial precision, and influence strategic decisions within a vibrant, expanding organization. You'll oversee all core financial operations-including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll-while ensuring the reliability and accuracy of financial statements, streamlining monthly and annual close processes, and establishing strong internal controls.This is a direct hire role offering a salary of $85,000 per year and a comprehensive benefit package. • Direct daily accounting operations, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger (GL), and payroll.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Develop and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Mentor and develop team members; review / approve journal entries, reconciliations, and transactions.
