Solar Service Electrician (WA EL02)

Wa El02 Licensed Residential Electrician

We're seeking a WA EL02 Licensed Residential Electrician to support our Service Department. This position is preferred for electricians with solar rooftop experience who are comfortable with both ground-based and rooftop aspects of solar installations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives on troubleshooting, solving unique problems, and working independently in the field.

Role Responsibilities :

• Perform post-installation service work on residential solar PV systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical components, inverters, monitoring systems, and storage.
• Conduct warranty work and preventive maintenance inspections.
• Complete rooftop service tasks, including racking, wiring, and module replacement.
• Work safely at heights, on ladders, and on pitched roofs in all weather conditions.
• Collaborate with project managers and communicate directly with homeowners.
• Document all service activity clearly and thoroughly.
• Train and mentor apprentices, promoting best practices in quality and safety.
