Department : Diagnostic Radiology. Radiology Technologists must hold BLS, ARRT, and Fluoroscopy certifications. Radiology Technologist must have CT experience. Experience with Cerner is preferred. Equipment includes Philips iPatient 64 and Big Bore 16. Report to the manager and team lead. Weekend requirements will be provided during the interview process. Holiday availability is required if needed. On-call requirements will vary and will be discussed during the second interview. Scrub color is teal, unless entering the operating room, where scrubs will be provided. Radiologists are in-house until 6 PM, then on-call. Shifts can be 8, 10, or 12 hours. Specific shift information will be provided during the interview process. Floor-specific orientation will consist of 1-2 shifts in the department. Work includes the operating room and emergency room, with both inpatient and outpatient care. Level II Trauma experience is preferred but not required. Radiology operates in a very fast-paced environment. Candidates must be self-starters and ready to hit the ground running. C-arms will be used in the operating room. The department is well staffed, but night shifts may be more challenging due to fewer resources. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment. Charting system used is Cerner.
