This task involves meticulously processing payroll data, verifying timekeeping records, and calculating wages while maintaining strict adherence to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, as well as wage and hour laws, thereby safeguarding the company against potential legal issues. Additionally, you will manage payroll tax registrations and ensure that all necessary filings are completed accurately.
