About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : 2 years specialty experience preferred; will consider 1 year of strong experience.

License : Oregon State License or proof of Oregon State License application / fingerprints required.

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP Advanced, Advanced Fetal Monitoring or Relais Fetal Monitoring.

Must-Have : Previous travel experience preferred.

Description :

Candidates must have applied for or hold an RN license.

Facility is open to assignments longer than 13 weeks.

Weekends and holidays are required as needed.

Refusal to float as requested will result in cancellation of contract.

Travelers are expected to float within the site and across the system.

Travelers must complete any assigned education within one week of assignment.

Mandatory cancellation terms apply.

Personnel may be mandatorily canceled one shift per two-week pay period without cause or penalty.

Facility highlights include a Children's hospital and a magnet / teaching designation.

Patient age groups served include neonates and adults.

The RN's work involves managing both labor and postpartum patients.

The labor unit has labor beds, triage rooms, and ORs.

The postpartum unit can also monitor antepartum patients.

RN's should possess solid labor and delivery experience.

Interdisciplinary support includes teams for IV therapy, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more.

Staff will work with both high and low-risk obstetrical patients.

The unit has certain patient ratios based on census and shift requirements.

Floating is rare, and the RN may need to participate in call rotations.

Completed modules during orientation are billable.

RNs will be required to pass an EPIC Test Out Module.

Failure to pass will result in mandatory training assigned at no charge.
