Process Engineer II

The Opportunity :

Avantor is looking for an engaging and motivated Process Engineer to optimize our NuSil team, delivering results against some of the most complex business and technology initiatives.

This role will be a full-time position based out of our Bakersfield, CA facility with occasional travel to our sister site in Carpinteria, CA. You will have the opportunity to be responsible for all phases of medium-scale assigned process improvement projects, ensuring the successful conclusion of all phases within an appropriate time and at appropriate cost. The team

Avantor's NuSil team is part of our Biomaterials unit . This team supports the innovation and growth objectives of major laboratories across the globe by helping with the integration of new technology solutions into their lab processes and operations.

What we're looking for

• Education : B.S. in engineering, chemical preferred
• Experience : 1-3 years in process engineering

Familiarity with relevant industry standards : ASME BPVC / B31.3, ISA 84, TEMA, NFPA 70 / 70E, etc

Pay Transparency :

The expected pre-tax pay for this position is

$77,300.00 - $128,700.00

Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
