We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support and care to patients in various settings, including homes, hospitals, and long-term care facilities. The PCA / CNA will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor their health, and help ensure a safe and comfortable environment.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support patients with mobility and transportation, including transferring them in and out of beds, chairs, or wheelchairs.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any changes to nursing staff or supervisors.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a positive and respectful relationship.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary restrictions and preferences are respected.
• Help with housekeeping tasks, including maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients.
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals to meet the specific needs of each patient.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay updated on best practices in patient care.
• Qualifications :
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a PCA / CNA training program preferred.
• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in [Insert State] or a PCA if applicable.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and common health conditions.

• Additional Requirements :
• Background checks and / or drug screening may be required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
