• Work day shifts from 7 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM in 8-OR operating room department
• Maintain 1 : 1 patient ratios with circulating nurse responsibilities
• 2 years of OR circulating experience at acute care hospital required
• Varied skill set in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery required
• Neuro spine experience preferred
• CNOR certification preferred
• 5 years of experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• Participate in general surgery, robotics, colorectal surgery, neuro spine, orthopedic, and urology procedures
• Use Meditech ORM electronic medical record system
• Shift starts at 6 : 30 AM with daily huddle at 6 : 45 AM
• Rotating call schedule with other staff members
• On-call responsibilities : 45-minute response time, 5 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM weekdays, 24-hour coverage weekends
• 1 RN and 1 scrub tech on call per shift
• Hospital-provided scrubs required
• Artificial nails, dips, and gels not permitted
• Must be flexible and able to work in fast-paced, changing environment
